Im looking to make some video tutorials but its not easy trying to find the software that does it, just want to save to quicktime. Anyone know any decent free ones?

Give HyperCam a shot....

Camtasia is generally considered a superior solution, however

If you are using a Mac, Snapz Pro X is a good solution. It is free and fully functioning for 30 days, but after that, you need to pay. Worth it if you plan to use it a bunch.

Camtasia is good, but relatively expensive.

Go to:

www.debugmode.com (http://www.debugmode.com)

and download the FREE software called Wink.

It does pretty much everything Camtasia does, but is a no-strings-attached free sw.

It's great stuff, and has a pretty ok support forum.

Also, check out University College London (UCL), which has a Wink tutorial available online.

Cheers!
