View Full Version : Creating fish scales with PF

Hello. I have to create a mermaid tail and I was thinking of using PF (with shape instance + position object) to place all the scales on the mesh. The problem is that I could not find a way to orient the instanced geometry to the surface correctly, since PF's Rotation Operator does not have the option to orient the rotation to the surface.
Is this possible to do using MAXScript + PF?
Do you have any suggestions?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
