Been a while since I posted on the forums. Heres a quick piece (bout 5-6 hours) for an upcoming Animation Workshop I'll be teaching in southern Florida later this month.
Hope you enjoy. I had wanted to do a lot more with this guy and hope to in the future. He's got a bunch of accessories that arent shown that would be a lot of fun. This anim was kept short since Im writing up a tutorial and process as to how I went about creating it.
Model created by Adam Schuman (http://www.one-lung.com)
Enjoy, feedback welcome.

Hey Kiel ,
Nice animation man , I really like the beginning and the shooting part but instead of just stepping back for the recoil I think it would look better if he stumbled back a little.

Badass animation Kiel, I love all the character you put into it, especially how he sort of flies back on the recoil even though it's a little fake laser gun. :) Couple little no biggie things tho that might be cool - what if ya had him squint ( I know that's facial stuff, blah) when he shoots, maybe exagerate it to that he looks really kind of awkward when he's aiming that thing - also, I thought it might be cool if when he jerks back a couple of his toys and collectibles fly out of his backback or from his belt, like the book and his communicator.
I know this is for a class demo but ya know... ;)
Excellent work bro, lots of work went into this and it shows.
