Here are some pics of this environment I had to do for school. It's sort of a 1940's-looking interior. Primary sources of inspiration (aka outright theft -- just kidding :) ) include the chrysler building in New York, and the Daily Planet building from Superman. Please, tell me what you think. (PS: the bits in the middle are supposed to be pools with a decorative waterfall in each. The water and the waterfalls i added in UnrealEd )

I'm not sure how great it is level design-wise, since it's just 1 room with a huge empty space in the middle, but does the art show any promise? I think I want to re-do it if I use it to go apply somewhere...

It looks nice. Only thing i think is a bit odd are the tiles because they seem to be differnt sizes and maybe the plants are a bit too big but im not sure lol.:shrug:

here's what i think should change:
the tiles are far too big and also vary in size
the lighting is monotonous
the scale of some props are far too big
those things in the middle have an obvious-tiling-texture

on the upside the modelling seems good and most of the texturing is solid :)

the textures all seem very bland, And there really is no lighting, Set the scene up with some good lighting and it will look 10x better.
