I think this looks like a very low-poly version of the Starship Enterprise... But I can't tell if it's the Enterprise C or D. Anyone?

12 December 2001, 03:48 PM
lol, it's actually a destroyer rotated 45 degrees. :D

a such modeling perfection

"this is not a box ! stupid meat's puppet, this is the universe"

...and.. what about a joke challenge ;)

01 January 2002, 03:48 PM
hm really, really nice but you have to work on the pov of your camera,,, I know it's still wip but to get a real masterpiece (I'd say we've got a half masterpiece for now) you'd have to rotate the cam slightly...
but anyways, very good model!!

This just busted me up.

The other day me and my brother in law were out getting dinner. I was sketching some ideas for the challenge and he thought it was a really cool idea (the challenge). So he's like gimme that thing. So I give him my pencil and he asks me what the requirments are once more right before he starts. About 5 minutes later he shows me this.

The funny part is that it meets all the requirments I told him that night (I couldn't remember them all).

1) He's alien like.
2) the flag is for the pirate theme and the item in hand
3) the peace sign is the friendly part
4) tank treads are the prostetic part
5) and the arm pit hair signifies the male and oh yeah.... uh ummm... the canon too :D

I wish I could have rememberd all the requirments then but oh well.

By the way.... He's a physics major and doesn't have anything to do with art. :)

That is disturbing on soooooo many levels. :D

01 January 2002, 11:03 PM

01 January 2002, 01:50 PM
