hey guys,

im getting the hang of AliasStudio these days, im stuck now though, i cant seem to find the right way to setup the curves for the range rover

here is one of my reference pics,

can someone please make a draw over on that pic, just to give the basics of how the curves should look? and maybe mention the proper workflow for a car like that?

thanks in advance =]

Ah ic, well i wouldnt use Nurbs, i would use Poly's, they are much easier to take control of.

As for what and where id start on it, For me id start on the front end, just make a Big poly, and start to add edge rings in ther and break it all up.

but also Find some blue prints on it first, with a front, side, and back view, and maybe even a top one also. This will help with proportions and make the model look accurate.
Dont hesitate to ask me any questions, just PM me k.

thanks for relpy!

actually the whole point for me modeling this are is to get a hold of nurbs
i am fairly experienced with poly modeling, but nurbs give me trouble sometimes heh

i already have blue prints imported into AliasStudio.
im not sure wether to make front, back, side and top curves and trim them together to get the basic shape. something similar to this (
or starting the car by a connected network of curves and surface the car like that.

thanks for the offer Nforce, however this time, i am determined to finish a car with nurbs lol
