Just working on another piece for my portfolio, thought i would post it and hope for some crit.
It's a futuristic artillery tank with a payload of missles on the back.
The textures about half done, most of it is still base. I have added some details but i plan on adding more wear and tear, mud, and paint decals.
I'm working off a concept that i will post once i find where it went :P.

Excellent work. The texture work is really nicely done.

Its looking really good. I'd like to see some more scratch work / metal showing on the texture as well as some more contrast and texture work on the treads. One thing that bothers me about the model is the trifecta of missle launchers. The barrel on the them at the end opens up way to much - it looks more like the end of suction cups than a launching barrel. Maybe make them more like the gun barrel?

thanks for the input i will definatly be denting and scratching up the armor :)
also the missle bays looks wierd becuase of the design, when they are textured or when i put up the concept art it will make more sense. the rockets don't fire out of the middle. i'lll try and update tomorrow.

I think you did a really good job with getting the metal on there, at least as a base to put paint and decals ontop of. Nice. I also see some nice grime trickling down from certain parts of your texture and that gives it a great look.
I don't know if you plan on doing this, but I think it would be good to add fabrication marks. Show some more bolts and welding scars where the plates might intersect. Also, you probably already have a good vision of how dirty you want it to look, but if you are going to add dirt anywhere, throw some mud on the treads and the surrounding areas. More decals would definetly do this model some justice.
All in all, it is coming along very nicely~ Keep it up.
