View Full Version : Best way to model?

I wanna know what the best way of modeling is when I model a house for example. Should I make the walls and the roof appart or all together. I don't know what the best way is for good texturing after modeling. There are many ways to texture a object but what is the best/easiest for n00bs.

(If someone knows good e-books/books about 3d modeling/texturing/rendering they are all welcome.)

Well, for me it would be easier to build everything piece by piece. That way everything gets its own name, material and you only have to UV one small piece at a time. Once your done, you can group everything so you can group UV maps.

For books visit : This is a great site for 3d animation books. Search on there for 3D Animation and you will come to find that you will see books that maya & 3D s MAX have made,
