i am having a problem as follows :
the front side of my head model has the mat id. nr 1
i've detached it as copy and i've flatten it by hand to get a nice texture template.
i don't like the pelt thing too much for that kind of texturing
then i've applique uv unwrap and saved out the uv data
back to my model I've applique uv unwrap and load the safed file from the flat mesh. it does nothing.
the uv mesh remains the same as on the originally head model.
i always thought it is possible to flatten a modelled mesh in the viewport . grap the
uv data and transfer back to the modelled mesh again .
is this wrong or do i wrong ?
would be glad to get some infos on that
