It's a long time I'm using Photoshop at work and I have had a new assignement at work : making tiny icons for an application we have developped.

In some icons, I need some alpha map to say "here it is transparent, here it is not transparent". So I tried the GIF export (Save for web) and managed to get transparent zones as in the image below :

In fact it works well it my pixels are not antialiased. But let's see below, some pixels are antialiased and I can't get a clean result :

Lastly, here are the parameter I used for the export :

If you can help please do soo !!!!!!
thx in advance

think it's not about antialiasing, hmmm.
even though you checked transparence, ps will give you a choise of some background_pixels near the edges. In your sample you chose white i think it's Détourage...try other or none colour and see if it works.

ps:not sure about this but's a beer

Simply forget all that, try buying a program called Axialis Workshop Corporate Edition, he has a plugin that integrates both softs for icon creation, you can do your icons in a large scale like 600x600px them send this file directly to IconWorkshop to generate the icons.

Try to download a trial version at

Cya ;-)
