The style kinda reminds me of our very own 'Pkok's' art:

Wow, Plaid is doing the music for an animated film? That's cool! Trailer didn't really grab me though...

Known in the USA/Europe as Black & White. The manga is awesome, as is everything by Taiyo Matsumoto. Viz has translated almost all of his currently available work:

Black & White (http://www.viz.com/products/products.php?series_id=30)

No. 5 (http://www.viz.com/products/products.php?series_id=124)

Blue Spring (http://www.viz.com/products/products.php?series_id=211)

It looks like the anime will do some justice to the work it's based on :)

Nice!
Looks like studio 4c's animation work, and very similar to their previous film mindgame. If this is half as good as mindgame it will be amazing.

I really really liked mindgame, so I'm looking forward to this one. Did Studio 4℃ also do "cat soup"? That was really good too.

I can't believe no one noticed the fact that it's directed by a non-Japanese director, Michael Arias. (producer of Animatrix) That's got be a first in Japanese animation history.
