View Full Version : question: show extras preferences

Ok guys, simple question. me and a teacher were hunting for this, neither of us could find it.

How can you make photoshop NOT open with "show extras" enabled.

I can turn them off everytime I start a file, and even change the options so "showing extras" shows nothing when Ps does start (but it's still checked), but I was wondering if there's a hidden preference to let photoshop start an image without it checked at all.

Hitting cntrl h everytime is getting silly.

You have tried to go to ---> View ---> Show and disable it all

For me it works,

yeah, I can do that each and every time i open photoshop, but i was just wondering if there was a permanent way to keep it off, like as a default. Its not in preferences or anywhere else that I can find.

Sorry but that works fine for me, I don't have a clue what may be the problem for you, once I deactivate the extras in the view menu they only appear when I click control+h or selectin from the menu.

See Ya!
