View Full Version : Finalshaders: How to combine fr-glass material with fr-wet?

Hi all

I want to creat a glass mug (for a cold beer) with wet appearence, therefore, I was thinking to use finalrender glass material combine with finalsaders wet material. Howerever, there is no transparency control of wet material.

I don't know how to combine glass and wet material. Plz help me!

I ran into the same question and could never make any headway. Instead I've used either a composite or shelac material. Put the basic mat in the base and add the water drops in the layer. I've used fr advanced material for both. For the drops, a quick way is to use splat as a bump (stretch in the obj Y to get streaks or not to get drops) and to use a falloff as opacity and refraction map.
