View Full Version : Animating procedural terrain

I set up a cool fractal / procedural terrain and would like to animate the erosion over 20 frames. I tried to link my nodes to the time output, but everything changes over 5-6 frames and that's it. I don't know how to control the lenght and intensity of my changes...

Plus I'd like to have my plants growing as the terrain change... is there a way to do this with ecosystem?

Any idea?

There is a good example for you in the manual - page 453, "animating an ocean."
You can see there perfectly how the settings should be.

Ok, the node in the ocean exemple is by defaut animatable. I will try with my fractal noise nodes and see if I get to control the lenght amd ease in / out for the erosion.
