Well i finished my Chevy pickup and decided to start a new car model since i had so much fun doing the last one. This time i'm doing a 1968 Camaro, My favorite car by the way. If anyone has any comments or critiques, please post.

Hi Kyle ! You already finished your pickup ? where did you post it ? I'd really like to see a final render.

Your Camaro is on a great start. Without seeing a wireframe, the mesh seems very clean, even better than your pickup ! And thanks to post clay renders, even if the second one is a bit too dark.

Well here's the latest on my camaro, It's not quite done yet but i'm happy with how it's turning out so far. And by the way, i'm FGP.

This is a huge improvement since the last update and looks increadable. I was wandering if you made the camero text using a texture or using a spline? Best of luck.

Hi Kyle ! Nice to see you back !

a couple crits : the shape of the roof seems wrong, too flat IMO. and you should work more on the A-pillars (I hope it's the right word) and the windshield. But it's still WIP, isn't it ?
And I think your paint is much too reflective.
I'm looking forward to your next update...maybe without this fisheye lens ?:)

I like how the scene looks, and besides what FastForward said the only thing I can see that is wrong is that some of your lights need to have the shadows turned off.

So far so good but I think you should place the car in a different environment or at least texture your current better. Also check out your mats. cause they are not at all suitable for car metal and windows.

Rather nice, so far. The only thing that jumped out at me was the scaling of the headlights/ front grill. They read as too big to me. I think you can see the proper proportions better in the first image w/ the image planes. It might be the absence of the front bumper that gave you the extra depth that's knocking the grille off, scale-wise...

Kyle, the grill looks great as well as the paint. The bumper looks good but seems to be too bright. Also you forgot to take the mirror modifier of of the camaro text.:D

Haz-mat:Thanks! and i didn't notice the camaro text thing, thanks for pointing it out. As for the front bumper, the reason it looks too bright is because there's nothing for it to reflect except the white environment, althought maybe the reflections could be lowered a little.

I like the way you fixed the front end. It looks alot better. Im working on a 69 open top Camaro my fav... The only thing is the hood scoop looks a bit long. Other than that youve done a great job. F.Y.I. ( has a lot of ref pictures if you want to do the inside)

I am planning on making the interior, infact i started on the door a while back, a long while back. But i think i want to do some work on another project before i do the interior. Thanks for the tip about the ref's though.
