View Full Version : Copying - Paste Keyframes

01 January 2003, 08:10 PM
Hello everyone

I want to copy AE Keyframes from Commotion into After Effects (5.5 pro).

It seems that AE has it's own Clipboard. Anything I copy into my clipboard from Commotion is completly ignored by AE. There it just keeps his own last clipboard.

I can even simplify my problem and copy a keyframe from AE to an editor. Change it and trie to copy paste it back.. it's ignored.

Any help would be MUCH apprecieted.

Oh o.. I just found out that it works on the mac (AE 5.5pro).

Any Ideas why it doesn't work on the XP box?

try this
save your traking as ae file in commotion
open it in "simple text" (mac) or any text editor
save it .
select all the text
go in after effect
select the layer

i think you can try it with text pad (pc)
it should work
but i have a mac so....
hope that help
