07-10-2006, 05:14 PM
After half hour thinking.

07-10-2006, 05:24 PM

07-12-2006, 04:46 PM
Hi all. I need of good idea. How to emphasize scales of the represented space and what to add on the foreground.

07-12-2006, 07:01 PM
Hi! Good luck to your work I like the foreground columns:)

Perhaps IŽd delete some point lights. They seem too straight, from my point of view.

Good luck again! =)

Thanks, I thought of it, but to formulate not so it turned out. What is yet good in a picture? The fresh sight is necessary to me

07-13-2006, 04:24 PM
Update and new detal

07-13-2006, 09:36 PM
Nice image, but I think you should work some more on the lighting. Choose some key lightpoints and try to give it a more dramatic look, because it would go great with the misterious mood you are setting.

07-14-2006, 07:05 AM
Thanks. I shall try something to make. Light and colors as does not please me the monotony

07-14-2006, 12:36 PM
its kind of hard to read the image at first, and the elements you put in are many, might give a confusing look. Good luck on the updates dude

07-14-2006, 03:04 PM
Thanks to the comment.
Next small update. Comments please.

07-17-2006, 09:05 AM

Please your comment.

07-17-2006, 11:27 AM
Next ligting update.

07-17-2006, 05:19 PM
analizing this picture you have your elements too defined, the foreground the middleground and the background, I think you have to blend them together to make it look like one solid picture.
those bubbles looks really cool maybe more of them and fishes will help you with the depth and scale as well

07-18-2006, 06:23 AM
Thanks!Jaime It was that of that to me did not suffice. I shall think as to mix the foreground the middleground and the background. Whether it should seems to you that light sources to be monochrome? Can be it is necessary to add in them a yellow or blue shade?

07-18-2006, 07:51 AM
Hi Dmitri, as Jaime already said, you need some more integration of the elements as well as more contrast and depth. It's hard to say, where exactly elements are in the image. Maybe erasing the lightbeams of the vessel, just reflecting the light on the stones, helps the viewer to define its position in space.

Hi! Thanks to good idea. I thinked about, but have not free time last two days.

Small update, but i think it is not very good.

07-21-2006, 08:53 AM
Hi all!I have added some small details. Anchors, holes in a covering of the ships, small fishes. Whether the picture is overloaded by details?

07-21-2006, 03:13 PM
Small update. Crop proportions to final size.

07-24-2006, 06:51 PM
hey dim those highlights below the capsule look great , but I think you're having some problems with scale, in the main base, the one with spotlights the windows looks too tiny to me, not corresponding to the general scale and depth .

07-25-2006, 06:06 PM
Yup, I agreed that the spotlight should be toned down.

Keep up the great work!

07-26-2006, 12:36 AM
Hey Dim , I would have to agree with james here. Also I still think that its easy to tell right now that there are many photos here. Maybe start going in with your paint brushes and refining edges etc :) Keep up the good work :D

07-27-2006, 06:33 AM
Hey Dmitri,

a pleasure to discover your painting here and to watch how you develop your imagination of Atlantis:) ! I like the mysterious mood you've created and especially your use of the spotlights:thumbsup: ...
I'm looking forward to see more!

Next update. Please comments....

08-02-2006, 04:32 PM
You have the right mood, just soften the fade out of that centre light that abruptly stops near neptine's triton.

08-03-2006, 06:20 AM
Thanks Vshen!!!

08-04-2006, 06:32 AM
My Final.

08-04-2006, 06:55 AM
Thanks all who has helped me kind advice!

08-04-2006, 11:40 AM
It is the second variant of the final image with the changed illumination. The scheme of illumination easily copes and can be animated.
as seaweed and a bathyscaphe can be animated bubbles

08-04-2006, 12:23 PM
I like your composition, Mr.Dim:scream: Like the underwater feeling and the giant statue on the background. I wish you all the good luck!

08-08-2006, 09:29 AM
Thanks for kind words. I too wish your of good luck!
