Anybody care if i post some work i did in FreeHand? It's all vector anyway...
anybody else use Freehand? i use to hate it, but now i use it quite a bit.
04 April 2002, 11:50 AM
Well, i do believe after seeing your work that i just might give Freehand a go! Wow, your stuff is amazing. Are you tracing depth lines first from a photo and then applying the fills? or is it all 'freehand' ? (no pun). wow.
04 April 2002, 06:08 PM
Wow man, that's some good shit!!
Is that traced from a foto or just all in da head ???
04 April 2002, 03:40 AM
Photos were the basis for all of those, but i did have to change some areas because of Freehand's limits.
These were all class projects, because vector is a real pain in the ass, so i probably would never have done them for any other reason.
I haven't used Illustrator very much, can anyone tell me what it has that Freehand doesn't?
the one thing i hate about Freehand is it's lack of transparency options.

These are amazing!
I have some humble stuff that I did for a commercial art class I'm in on a site I threw together. I wish I had more time to experiment with the program and learn on my own instead of doing projects.
I have never used Freehand but would like to try it.
oh, the site: http://www.geocities.com/f8alentity/index.html
I would love feedback and look for a post just for the site probably.

Thanks for replying to this thread! Seem there are more people on this forum who use vector based programs than I thought.
Doesn't matter if u use freehand, illustrator or even corel (or any other), let me see your vector-art !!!
