You know I'm kind of stuck in the same boat as you, so far though I checked out
and he shows how to make a basic flash website that I thought was at leas a good start.... nothing fancy just a basic site.
Maybe we should treat this as a "I'm a flash newbie and just want to make a nice website" thread... Im sure there are tons of people out there that don'twant to end up doing this for aliving but just want to accomplish the seemingly simple goal of make a nice website.
Another site I saw was flashkit.com and this place has alot of premade sites that you can download and study. I don't really get much out of the tough... I guess I don't know enough.
Anyhoo, right now I'm just trying to learn how to make buttons that animate and do nice looking things when the mouse is over them.
Lets keep posting our finds and results :)

Hi there! My site is completely built in Flash 5.0, if you wanna take a look, it's at:
:buttrock: http://zona3d.iespana.es :buttrock:
If you like the site(hope so!), ask whatever about flash.
If you don't like the site, my mouth will stay closed forever. :shame: He he he, i'm only joking!!!
If you wanna ask anything, feel free to do it. If i answer or not, we'll see... mmm, another joke...
Well, i've studied a little about flash one year ago. I'm not a master ( so far...), because i can't practise enough, but i'll be proud if i can help ( joking?... or not? hehe ) :wavey:
