I'm trying to animat a room with lights flickering. How do you animate that??

I would like to show the lights flickering on and off as if there was something wrong with the power supply. Like in those scary movies where the light has trouble staying on and the whole room is dark.

I just need some tips or tutorials on how to animate flickering lights.

Can someone help??

Don't you think it could be necessary to name the used software?

Either you animate the strength of the multiplier of your lightsource or use a noise controller for the multiplier in the trackview.

please explain in more detail. Do I have to increase my light source each time I make a mark in my time slider, or what??

No offense to anybody, but I think that scrimski explained very well what you need to do, and in a very detailed way. If you don't know what "multiplier", "trackview" or "noise controller" are, just open Max's Help docs.
