View Full Version : muscle Bone rigs in XSI option please ?

HI all

I'm a Lightwave / messiah rigger animator / everything type of dude :twisted: )
but been converting to XSI ( man it's the best !! :thumbsup: )
But only been using it for a year or so ,.. And Would like to get some more XSI pro opinion on Muscle bone rigs in XSI Ess 5.11

afew months ago I done a sports injury thing with muscle bones in XSI using madcap
( link broken now,..lucky downloaded it last year :D )
But Only one instances seem to be able to work in a scene ?
anyone got a workaround ?? ( tried renaming everything still didn't work )

spent alittle time looking at this FIE
but it havn't got it's logic yet ( being new to XSI i feel )

and i have the ACR lessons too :) )

anyway this is a new project using Daz textures baked onto a SubD model ( got to love Gator !!:buttrock: )
I'm thinking of having the skin texture and the Muscle texture on the same model and paint a displacement map for the muscle map in Zbrush and the deformation muscles ( will be hidden ) and will driver the skin/Muscle model deformation

very early and Quick WIP Quicktime clip of what i have now ( without displacement map )
but wanted to get opinion before I get too far along, there's afew options in XSI
nice to hear some opinion from people how have attacked this type of thing before :)
