Consider a scenario where a 10 minute animated short needs to be made. Assuming all the modelling is done in maya, will professionals prefer maya or motionbuilder for character animation?

I've heard MotionBuilder is used in Gaming industry, but is it also used in films?

(The animation i'm refering to is keyframe animation, not mocap)
