View Full Version : angle of view for modeling heads?

I was wondering... when you are modeling a head what angle of view (MAYA) or Field of view (softimage) do you use?....i mean if you use the default wich is around 54 in both apps it will be a big diference from the perp. view to the ortho. view..( i know that ortho. view has no depth)..

-do you use an small number in the FOV to avoid distortion due to close angles when modeling a head?

-also what FOV do you use to make the render of heads?..(the same of the modeling)?

Use whatever suits you at the moment. That's what all the options are for.
