I´m studing facial rig controled by a totally customized interface, and I think it´s a good reason to post here again.
So...the idea is to make the animation easier in order to even a 2D animator with no experience get a good job. And for all 3D animator to animate in a very simple way, taking away the boring and complicated part like helpers, bones, sliders, morphers... All the features will be in the same place.
To do a good animation you jut have to understand the interface (totally intuitive), the timeline (the same in every animation software) and the curve editor.
To build this program I hid the max tools and created a friendly interface, reduced to maximum the controllers point and increased to maximum the expression possibilities. I didn´t finish the rig yet, I saw some limitations regarding exaggerated expresions, but I´m trying to fix it.
