View Full Version : Sub'D Display

Is there any way that when you have your viewport in shaded mode, that you can have the low poly as wireframe and the high poly as shaded.
I have been into the display menu and what ever I change applies to everything. I think I have seen a menu that lets me change the properties of each object, but I can't find it.

Any help would be most greatful.

if you use geometry approximation you see your low poly cage as wireframe and highpoly mesh shaded.

I usually deselect everything/ make sure my view port is in mix viewing mode/ then only select what I want to be a wireframe. but if it's just the sudivision surface you want use geometry approximation.

A quick shortcut for geometry approximation is hitting the '+' and '-' key on your keypad.
