I've made some changes, i didn't like the walk at the beginning, would be cool to know wot u think.

Hi Nick! This is a great effort for animation. Really nice work, overall. You have a handle on the principles and such. However, I will try to offer suggestions.

He seems kind of "swingy". Yes, I know, arcs and everything. Your arcs seem generally good. I like the basic gestures you have set up for all the moments of emphasi. But for instance, when he says "Loser", I would have had him get himself farther into an upright position again before having him swing his arm out to emphasize the word "loser". The motion path for the head in that little section seems a little weird. I guess it's just design. I'd just kind of strip down some of the motions, make them cleaner and punchier.

I know, that's a pretty lame crit, but really, it's rather good, in my opinion.

Thanks for taking the time to reply, i see wot u mean about the arch in his back before he says 'loser'.

I'd really like to try and 'push' my animations more, but i am afraid of over acting.

the panthomime is good, i agree with smarty about arcs but i foud your facial anims a little poor around eyes` area. i think you should use some low eyelids stretching to get more emphasis (and reliability).. anyway lipsync is really nicely done.

With regards to over acting: don't worry about it. You can always dial it back if you go too far. I'm finding with my own animations that I need to "clean things up" a bit; I need to decide on clear, straightforward actions and simplify the motions so that the acting is clear and dynamic. I'd say the same applies here.

i've pushed the eyes and brows more now.

i've also made the part where he says 'loser' just a shoulder shrug, because i was finding that
he was moving around too much the way i had it before.

I hope i've improved it, rather than made it worse! It happens sometimes if you mess with something too much!
