View Full Version : Teeth and Gum for realistic rendering?

I was wondering how do you make realistic teeth and gum shading? Any suggestions?

Nothing special too it. I had to do a little vfx shot and intergrate a cg thooth with real ones. I found that the most impotant thing is to have a nice bump or spec map to get the broaken up specular look on the theeth. Color map could be rather simple. Other than that nothing special, just get good refs.

Teeth especially need SSS.
