View Full Version : Quick question - probably a matter of opinion.

I'm pretty experienced with Max, but I've always strayed away from modeling people or never turns out well for me. But in a quest to become a better modeler, I've started a practice model of a human head.

So my question is this: Where do you start your head model? (Eyes, nose, mouth, etc?) Does it matter in terms of making it easier to model smoother topology?

When it comes to modeling, you start wherever you want, it doesn't matter, you should work out what your poly flow is going to be before you start, there are plenty of threads here dealing with good head topology.

Ok, I'll dig those up. Thanks.
