Hi guys

I started this project about a month ago, but only worked on it for like less than 5hours.
I want to present a inhabited desert occupied by wild and non wild animals.
The animals are manipulated photos from varies of websites. My original plan was to use them as a reference and hand paint them but the result didn't look as promising as using the photos it self. Using it, I extracted the animals from the photo and imported it in my working canvas/file thingy.
Finally, my primary concern was how I'd present the sunset sky. So I tried varias techniques and I found out that Terragen was the best answer, so the sky is Terragen generated image.
This image was from the earlier

Ok, The original idea of this project is to print it on a 36"x12" canvas and hang it in my home. This is ofcourse WIP image.

wow, lookin great, love the whole thing. the only thing is that the giraffe is kind of blocked by the tree, which isn't bad, just sad

It's hard to give a critique of collages. I think I like the sky of the original one, with less blue. It doesn't feel like the right color of blue in the update. I would also think about trying to find two different trees for your collage. Even manipulated a little, its still obvious that its the same.

my personal oppinion...coming from have too many animals in your picture...looks a bit too busy. The chances of you spotting all those animals in one spot is virtually nothing...and the camels...they dont fit with that part of african if you want it technically correct u should probably remove them...unless you are insome game ranch where they keep camels along with giraffes...everything else looks great like what you are trying to do. The whole look at feel is very african.

looking at it again I like your original picture better with only those few animals

I like the original one too, except the giraffe really shouldn't be blocked by that just looks odd and doesn't work well.
