Hey!

I've started to use Linux instead of IRIX, is it possible to connect
a 1600SW flat panel display to a Quadro 900XGL card?

Do I need the multiLink adapter or is it possible to do this without
additional hardware?

All feedback is welcome!

You need the multilink adapter.

Yes, and the multilink is only available through SGI and they were supposed to stop selling them at the end of the year, 2002. If you are lucky you can find one on ebay, but be prepard to pay anywhere from 300-600 dollars for it.

You can still order them from SGI. I got a quote from them just the other day for one ($500).
