THIS IS WORK IN PROGRESS moderator please move it was posted in wrong section
Hi guys we are students at Bradford University and we are working on a made-up canon printer advert for our 'Design for Industry' module. A thread was originally started for the animation of the frogs, but with more content being created all the time we thought we would make a generic thread to put all the work in. Here is some of the previous images and videos:
HDTest - MOV - 1.9mb - Mirror1 (http://www.daviddeacon.co.uk/cgtalk/HDTest.mov)
frogsandprinter - MOV - 1.6mb - Mirror2 (http://www.daviddeacon.co.uk/cgtalk/frogsandprinter.mov)
Comments and crit welcome

this is gonna be really cool! love the way the paper reacts to frogs' movements. seems like there could even be more bounce -i mean, it really bends when mr yellow crawls out to the edge but when both the blue and green frogs are out there, it hardly bends at all.
even some subtle movement over where yellow and red start from would not be overdoing it. I know these are just tests though, and i am really loking forward to more of them. sweet work.
btw, the frogs' movements seem dead on. i like the subtle body moves -hope you add a few head bobs and some blinking too.
hey dude, your work really rocks!! keep it up
my only crit wud be that the jump and landing motion of the frogs seem kind of linear, there's no suggestion of weight....
What i mean is that the animation looks linear, maybe if you tweak the curves and add more slow in/out where needed could definetely improve things... but well this is all just my impression anyway
Looking forward to updates ;)
