I work in the games indusrty setting up rigs, amongst other things.

I just want to know how other people go about setting up the arms for an in game character.

What with joint restrictions etc. I would like to hear your methods for avoiding horrible twisting and badly deforming meshes.

At the moment we simply use a four joint arm -

Shoulder > Bicep twist > Elbow > Wrist

But even with this in some positions the arm still loses its shape around the bicep.
