Looking pretty cool so far. The background makes me think of a Bond villain final showdown type situation. My only suggestion is that the sword sheath looks too thin to accommodate the blade.

This looks really good. I love all the detail you put into her outfit, and her post has such an awesome attitude. One thing I see that's a bit off is...well, her head is too small for her body. One thing that you could do is duplicate the layer, erase the body on the new layer and scale it using the Transform too. Then just marge it back down and touch up the edges. Hopefully that will help her proportions. Great work so far, I look forward to an update!

Well I dunno - her hands could just be small. If you look at her right hand (left to us) which is the one I assume you say is the small one? It's wide enough to let her rest her chin on it still -- and it is about the same width as my hand is compared to my chin. But then, I have small hands (and small feet) compared to my frame... so maybe that's just it. I don't think it detracts, I didn't even notice it.

I would actually say I wish the colors were a bit more saturated, but you likely have all that coming up, so can't wait to see you push the values a bit more :) This is looking very good.

thanks for the input guys i made some modifications the last image above has been updated server side so hit fresh to see the unbloody version with all the odd changes etc

this version is me playing around , added in blood splatter etc, spent some time trying to figure out how to make it low some how un tack, dont know if i succeeded or not, its an experiment not much more. gives her more of a edge perhaps

still the one for submission to the gallery will more than likely be the one with out the blood

This last one just reminded me of Doom 3 with all the blood smears and spatter all over the place. I think it looks pretty good in yours.
