This is a 40-second animation for a travel agent's website. He plans hawaiian vacations, etc.

Here's a rendering of the character:

I am nearing completion on the animation. All that remains are his fingers and eyelids. Here is the animation:

Animated in Lightwave 8.5.

Cheers! :D

Can't view the movie. "The file is not a movie file".

Try downloading it to your hard drive.. Be sure it retains the .MP4 extension (IE likes to rename it to .MOV for some reason). If you have "Hide Extensions for known file types" on, it might rename it to move and you'd never know. Then view it with Quicktime v6 or higher.

I know this is a WIP so I will ignore the stiff rigid hands :P Other than that I loved the animation, the life like movements were spot on. Good job, I am looking forward to seeing the final product.

Take care.

His wrist looks odd on the "something romantic" spot, dislocated and I'm not sure what he's supposed to be doing. Other than that great work

I noticed that some of the lip movements aren't exaggerated as much as it should be.

it maybe off like a few frames from the voice. And like some other people said the hands do look as though they need work. (and you said that too) so that is all I am going to say about those.

Nice job on the gestures.

Okay this is just about ready to render.. Client asked me to give him a tongue. Pity it probably won't be seen when it's rendered:
