View Full Version : menuItem -image command?

Does anyone know about the menuItem command, and a flag it has called -image? This command creates drop down menus under shelf buttons, and I'm trying to figure out if you can append an image to the side of it, as this might suggest.

Unfortunately, the "menuItem" command is not documented in the MEL command ref that I'm looking at, does anyone have a clue about this tool? Thanks.

The image that you specify there is used when you drag the menu item to the Shelf. I think it is also used in the Marking Menu editor.

I don't think that you can get it to appear on the actual menu item itself.

Ah, ok, that would make sense. What is the marking menu editor?

I can't remember the exact location of it in the menu...I think it's in same menu as the main Maya Preferences. It's the editor that lets you create your own marking menu's.
