I just recorded a quick video tut showing how to do the equivalent of Maya's wedge face command in Cinema. Enjoy.

It's a hotkey rather than a tool. Default key is F10. Rotate modeling axis is F11.

On Mac OSX, it is Control-Alt-Left Mouse button to move modeling axis. To rotate it, it should be Control-Alt-RMB but it opens a strange little pop-up window with World, Object, Selected, Root, etc... I changed it for another hot key.

thanks, I narrowed it down to ALT+F10 on OSX - apparently the "ALT" modifier is necessary because of the F10 "Expose" assigment in Tiger?

OT:

I never use hotkeys (other than E/R/T) is there a list of the defaults? I can not find it in any menu - also how can I change them?

Open the Command Manager (R-click on any palette and choose "edit palettes" from the context menu) and look in the hotkeys section. You can see and change the current assignments.
