View Full Version : Maxwell...Diffuse Lighting STudio problem

Dear friends...

Well, i have attached an image presenting the tabletop studio i want to create in maxwell... the only problem is that the SSS for the cloth is not working... (

I can use a reflection map for such objects but its not gonna be a real reflections.. so for the real reflections i suppose to create a translucence effect in the reflection environments...which is real world can be created with the cloth like material...

Is there anyother way to diffuse the light ? such diffuse lighting is very necessary in jewelry renderings...

Instead of diffusing a light through the material, make the material itself the emitter. Try to keep the emitter's poly count as low as possible in order to lower render times.
