I'm trying to make some water drops using blobs and I'm using the dielectric shader. When I turn on caustics, I get a huge white spot where the particles are. Basically I see the bounding box of the particles. I found some other threads about this problem, but no solution. So if anyone knows anything - please share your wisdom! ;)

Does it work if you instance a poly sphere (or a droplet shaped thingie)?

I had the same problem, and there is no solution to that. Get Real Flow (for animation) or convert your blobs to pure poly's and render.
