View Full Version : Rendering Scenario

Today, a student informed me rendering a 10 frame sequence is slower, per frame, than rendering a 3 frame sequence. I first wondered if the content of the frames were very different, ie. reflections or FG. He said, "No, everything is the same for both sequences, just one is 3 frames and the other is 10 frames."

Only one image, for a texture, is used in the rendering.

Is there a history of XSI not handling large sequences? Does it have memory issues with sequences?

At this time, I can't used batch rendering, but is batch rendering a possible work around?

Thanks so much!

That's very interesting! Have you done tests yourself? Simply rendering anything with first 3 and then 10 frames and dividing the time each frame takes will prove this.
