Good morning to you all

Iam a mid-level rigger. I have few knowledge in rigging both 2leg and 4leg characters.
I also know IKFK switching concepts.

And now i want to learn indepth in rigging, that is some uptodate techniques used in rigging. Because in rigging, i have seen many of them using constraints in different manner to solve the problem. so i want to know more about constraints in rigging and also some good procedures in rigging a character. Not the usual old concept.

Many of them will have greater knowledge in advanced rigging, so kindly post your various techniques in rigging.

hmm..check out the "Art of Rigging" books...Excellent books and they are pretty advanced techniques... Honestly, the rig does not matter as much as skinning does - the real trick to rigging is keeping the rig SIMPLE and CLEAN, and being able to do it fast is a plus - like 20 minutes or less with an automated setup technique so you can concentrate on painting weights/corrective shapes/facial stuff

I don't know what do you mean: the old concept. The Hyper Real DVD series and the Custom Character Toolkit was very usefull for me. These aren't new, but I think good to know the topics they cover.

Hi arunspooja,

I definently agree with csc2h about the "Art of Riggin" Volume 1 and 2 are great books, BUT there is another really good amongst the Inspired series called "3D Advanced Rigging and Deformations". Really great book, easy to read. Give this a try lemme know what you think.
(A lot cheaper than the "Art of Rigging " volumes.
