I am a student of Visual Effects and I was trying to achieve twister effect (like DAY AFTER TOMMOROW) in MAYA. But I wasn’t able to achieve proper dusty look for my particles rising from the ground. I have tried making dust through various methods using:
Volumetric shaders (Particle clouds)
2D fluids as shaders
3D fluids as shaders
But, I didn’t get the effect which I want.
Can anyone help me out?
