View Full Version : Deity in armor - WIP, tips are welcome

This deity appears in his wrathful form before a battle. He's going to be the source of light here, his spear and shield as well. Whole armor was going to be made of light but I don't know how to make it, so it's just shiny-to-be. [Painter IX from scratch, no reference]

It's still a concept stage. If you see anatomy mistakes here, please tell me. Or any illogical things - deity or not, I want this armor to be functional.

Since his knees were placed too low I've changed them using aid from Loomis:

You can see old head here. I've changed it before I saw Loomis' book. Loomis' man does not fit into my armor, I guess I've messed too much with it. The armor is larger than deity's body (even too large), I need to move it's parts to fit the body better. But do I really have to make my deity's head that large

I hope his hand is not too big, gloves make it larger. But it might be too large comparing with the present head. I would rather make the hand smaller than have this huge head on...

Any advice before I try to paint it? How to make the armor of light (not just shiny metal)?
