I just recently discovered a weird thing that might be a bug but I thought Id post here and check before I send it off to Autodesk.
When you have paintfx strokes and just want to render a shadow pass.
On the object I want to pass the shadows on to I turn “Cast Shadows off” so I don’t get any selfshadows.
No shadows from the strokes on the object.
Turn “Cast Shadows On” and the shadows are visible from the strokes as well as selfshadows from the poly object...
I don’t see why there should be any connection between these two. I mean, the poly object should still receive the paintFX shadows but ignore itself…
Anyone else had the same problem?
