View Full Version : Matte/shadow shader for mentalray problem - 3dsmax

Anybody know how to make the final gather and GI work on the matte/shadow plane on Mental ray - 3dsmax 8??

It render the raytraced shadow with no problem, but when it comes the time to do the soft final gather shadows it just do not do with the standard matte/shadow shader of max 8, does we need to set something in the mental ray connection rollout? or do i need to download a mental ray matte/shadow shader?
