Is it possible to use Inverse Kinematics in Flash without using any Actionscript or having a ridiculously large heirarchy of symbols?

if you mean in straight flash, nope, not possible. only thing i can think would be to use the swift3d plug-in for max, lw, or soft and animate then export a 3d scene.

there's a flash animation package called moho that i believe does that sort of thing. it's designed for character animation in flash, and i saw some reviews last year that kinda liked it... but i can't remember who makes it, and i've never used it myself, but could be worth a shot.
