quick question i tried to render in soft xsi but each time i try to my computer crashes....any ideas.everyting else seems to work fine...right now im using a fat32 system and ive tried converting to ntfs but my computer doesnt like it ie; it causes to many problems....has anyone else experianced problems like these before with rendering in xsi using a fat32 system.

system spec is

768 ram
20 gig hd
epox motherboard
32 meg geforce2 mx

i use to get these kinda crashes in 1.5.2 but i havent had em since i upgraded to 1.5.3, u should upgrade if u already havent. oh and xsi seems to run more stable on xp, atleast for me.

did you try batch rendering ?

I have experienced lots of problems with XSI 1.5 & 1.5.1

But I suggest you:

Windows 2000 Service Pack 2
XSI 1.5.3
Latest stable OpenGL drivers
DirectX 8.1

They all work fine:)

try outputing to mi files and render them. see what wappens.

had no rendering problems with my XSI 1.5.3 running under Win XP....

can anyone send me a copy of sp3 for xsi? I am using 1.52 and it's still crashy. Don't tell me to dl from cause the SID of my university has expired :'(
