really cool m8, the fact that your 13 and draw like that is really really cool. but dont get dazzled too much by the cg artwork you see here, keep up the drawing from hand it'd be a shame to loose that talent, and you have it i'm shure.

My only critique would be that there isn't enough of your stuff! You've got some obvious ability that you should develop. Keep drawing and practicing, especially those hand studies.

I was gonna post more but I didn't think anyone was paying attention so I disregaurded it. I should get some more stuff up by today at night or tommorrow when I get on.

I'll come back and check for sure, so you'll at least get one person paying attention!

yeah I haven't been able to get on but here is a new pic. And umm the scanner kinda screwed it up.

since you are 13 and have an interest in drawing i would say study things to find out what would make your drawings better.
learn anatomy and poses, and delve into shading.
you ahve a good start, but it would be good to get a little technical to see what exactly you can learn from others that have been drawing for a while.
crticism sometimes is the best thing, but sometimes the worst.

Yeah I know about criticism for sure. I posted a pic on a website once and got talked down and teased. But then there was another time where I actually learned something. At the moment I am actually studying all of the things you mentioned. If all goes well I will get good enough to be at the point where I will make a comic book series and hopefully get enough money to buy a new computer. Then I will study 3d and apply my traditional art skills to make 3d creations. Then I shall break into the gaming industry and maybe make concept art etc. SO I am gonna stay at CG art to learn from all of you pro's.

I would have to disagre on one point on what you should practis.
This is of course only my opinion, I also yhink you should draw alot especially from real life avoid photographs, again my opinion!
I dont think you should delve into shading to much because if you are not very good chanses are that you shade away all the faults in a drawing, but theay are still there. its an easy way to make volume but not the best in my opinon, at least not for practicing drawing.
instead try to find volume with only lines, try drawing something without shading try to se the volum inside and out in for example a body, and look in what direction it flows.
This way is harder but ibelive you learn quicker because the misstakes you do will be obvius at once not coverd in a messy shaded are.
no offence to Secrettasmanian sorry about the name i read it in a hurry.
As i said its only my opinion.
Il post a drawing to so you now how i draw, i dont really have that many i see now here is one anyway!dont have any studies on my computer

mabey that dident really illustrate my point very good ...il draw some reallife drawings that i will draw on a cafe or something and then you can do the same.to be continiued...

Hmm, I was drawing today and decided to go on the comp. I heard of some concept artist (Feng Zhu) and he said quick sketching is important and other things I didn't know required for concept art. Now I wanna be a concept artist one day so does anyone have any tips?
Animal Practice. The scan came in too light so I had to adjust the settings -.-.

You should practise every day, and look at stuff when you are out walking and so on.
I mean really look at stuff try to see the shapes of an objekt.
think of the lines and shapes not on wath it is you are drawing.
Keep going youl be extraodinary in five years!
