Now my airplane is finished, i'd started on the hangar were I want to place the plane.

Also started on the lights a bit (very simple, but just to try how it looks like)... Still haven't done anything on texturing... I will post a few updates later...

But first...: Vacation :D

Btw, you really should submit the render of the plane as a modeling milestone. You'd get more people to check out your thread.

The place where it all begins.

Started on the lights today. And this is the result so far. There hasn't been any texturing but it will come shortly. It took me quite some time to get this result but i like it :).
I've also made a small oiltank which is leaking and stands in the front of the image.
This because i've got the feeling that the hangar is very empty and this is the nicest way to fill it up a little and give it a more realistic look.

This is one of the most original takes on the theme yet.

A fantastic idea to portray the beginnings of flight. The lighting is great but perhaps could use on small portion of the scene with a hot spot. Maybe the person building the plane at work in a corner of the hangar shaving a prop contour? I don't know something to bring a suggestion of the future into the theme?

Looking forward to seeing some materials and post on this.

thnx for the ideas, but it was my idea to set one of the planes as the hot spot. And also, i'm not very good in making human characters and that's why i made this scene without humans.
this was also my beginning idea, just to show the place where those planes were standing on a early morning, with a little bit of sunsine coming through the woodwork.

This afternoon i will start on the texturing and i hope that by tomorrow i can post the final picture.
