It is recognizably Citan, however, the face could use some refining. In the full body shot it looks fine but as soon as you cut to the close up it really lost the appeal. I would recommend getting more references and perhaps looking at one or two of the characters in the upcoming Xenosaga game. They are a great starting point for anime in 3d... and it is the same chara designer. In fact there is even a character who looks alot like Citan. So do some research!
Also, the hair could use some more work. It is smooth, but there is not enough individual strands being pulled back into his ponytail. This shouldn't take too much time to do, and the extra attention to detail will make the hair really look great! Make some divisions if possible along the main bangs and curve them in to achieve some more detail.
The eyeglasses looks quite different from the actual design (I think the smaller spectacle should be almost directly attached to his right eye lens). Again it looks better in the full body shot, but when you get closer up it doesn't even look like a proper circular spectacle. It seems to be missing a medium sized spectacle attached to his left eye lens. :D
The hands could especially use some work. Just take a little more time to refine it, taking the time to redo attachments (for instance the thumb looks strange), look at your hand constantly as you work on this and it will all turn out.
The texture looks great so far. He is a doctor, but he is also a martial artist. Showing some wear around the knees, elbows and anywhere you might see fit would greatly enhance his believability.
