View Full Version : shave MR shaders question

I am trying to render hair of shave and a hair cut with mental ray mode(not geometry).
Does anyone know why the result between MR and just normal(shave hair buffer) with maya software is so different? MR one looks crap actually. I just changed render mode to Menatal ray and rendered. did not do anything funcy for setting. what are all those MR_shaders in mescellaneous in the Hypershad? there is no document about it and asked joeAlter.Inc but I could not get enough explanation. Any help wil be appreciated. Thanks
